[Machine] In His statement, "It is not permissible for you to replace women, after [having had] wives, nor to exchange them for other wives" [Al-Ahzab 52], Ibn Jurayj said: Ata narrated to me from Ubayd ibn Umayr from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not pass away until it was permissible for him to marry. However, it was only permissible for him to marry those who had migrated with him. This is clear in the verse and the narration.  

البيهقي:١٣٣٤٩أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عِصْمَةَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ ثنا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ

فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ وَلَا أَنْ تَبَدَّلَ بِهِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَاجٍ} [الأحزاب 52] قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ فَحَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ مَا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أُحِلَّ لَهُ أَنْ يَتَزَوَّجَ وَإِنَّمَا أُحِلَّ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّاتِي هَاجَرْنَ مَعَهُ وَذَلِكَ بَيِّنٌ فِي الْآيَةِ وَالْخَبَرِ
