[Machine] When Allah gave them the choice, they chose Allah and His Messenger and the home of the Hereafter. So Allah made it known to them that they will be deprived of it [i.e., marriage and intimacy] through this verse: "It is not lawful for you [to marry] women after [this]..." [translation of Al-Ahzab 52]  

البيهقي:١٣٣٤٧أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا حَاجِبٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَسَار ٍ ثنا عَارِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ عَنْ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ

لَمَّا خَيَّرَهُنَّ اللهُ اخْتَرْنَ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ فَقَصَرَهُ عَلَيْهِنَّ فَأَنْزَلَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ {لَا يَحِلُّ لَكَ النِّسَاءُ مِنْ بَعْدُ} [الأحزاب 52]
