[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to see a date and if it wasn't for the fact that he saw it as charity, he would have eaten it.  

البيهقي:١٣٢٣٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَرَى التَّمْرَةَ فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنَ الصَّدَقَةِ لَأَكَلَهَا
