البيهقي:١٣١٦٥ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حِبَّانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ نا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ نا عِيسَى بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْغَافِقِيُّ نا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بُكَيْرَ بْنَ الْأَشَجِّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ قَدِمَ بِصَدَقَاتٍ سَعَى عَلَيْهَا فَلَمَّا قَدِمَ الْحَرَّةَ خَرَجَ عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ فَقَرَّبَ إِلَيْهِ تَمْرًا وَلَبَنًا وَزُبْدًا فَأَكَلُوا وَأَبَى عُمَرُ ؓ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ فَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ وَاللهِ أَصْلَحَكَ اللهُ إِنَّا نَشْرَبُ أَلْبَانَهَا وَنُصِيبُ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ

يَا ابْنَ أَبِي رَبِيعَةَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَهَيْئَتِكَ إِنَّكَ وَاللهِ تَتْبَعُ أَذْنَابَهَا
