[Machine] Al-Harith bin Hassan al-Bakri said: "I approached the Prophet ﷺ while he was on the pulpit, and Bilal was standing, holding a sword. Suddenly, I saw black flags and the people saying, 'This is Amr bin al-As has arrived like this.'

البيهقي:١٣٠٦٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَوْذَبٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ رُشْدِ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ الْكُوفِيُّ ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ قَالَ

قَالَ الْحَارِثُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبَكْرِيُّ انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَبِلَالٌ قَائِمٌ مُتَقَلِّدٌ السَّيْفَ وَإِذَا رَايَاتٌ سُودٌ وَالنَّاسُ يَقُولُونَ هَذَا عَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ قَدْ قَدِمَ هَكَذَا

رَوَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ وَرَوَاهُ سَلَّامُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ وَقَالَ فِي مَتْنِهِ فَإِذَا رَايَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ تَخْفِقُ فَقُلْتُ مَا شَأْنُ النَّاسِ الْيَوْمَ؟ قَالُوا هَذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَمْرَو بْنَ الْعَاصِ وَجْهًا
