[Machine] From the Prophet, ﷺ , that he wiped (his hands) after the meal was served. He said, "Ata' did not say anything."  

البيهقي:١٢٩٣ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ فِطْرِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ إِنَّ عِكْرِمَةَ كَانَ يَقُولُ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ سَبَقَ الْكِتَابُ الْمَسْحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ قَالَ كَذَبَ عِكْرِمَةُ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ امْسَحْ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَإِنْ خَرَجْتَ مِنَ الْخَلَاءِ وَكَذَلِكَ رَوَاهُ وَكِيعٌ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ فِطْرٍ وَيُحْتَمَلُ أَنْ يَكُونَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ مَا رَوَى عَنْهُ عِكْرِمَةُ ثُمَّ لَمَّا جَاءَهُ التَّثَبُّتُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ مَسَحَ بَعْدَ نُزُولِ الْمَائِدَةِ قَالَ مَا قَالَ عَطَاءٌ
