[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Judgment." Sufyan said, and Mujalid added, quoting from Sha'bi, quoting from Urwah al-Bariqi: "(The reward) is in giving charity and seizing spoils of war."

البيهقي:١٢٨٨٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ أنا أَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ الْأَعْرَابِيِّ ثنا سَعْدَانُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ سَمِعَ شَبِيبُ بْنُ غَرْقَدَةَ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيَّ يَقُولُ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الْخَيْرُ مَعْقُودٌ بِنَوَاصِي الْخَيْلِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ وَزَادَ فِيهِ مُجَالِدٌ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيِّ الْأَجْرُ وَالْمَغْنَمُ

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ وَرَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ عَنِ ابْنِ رَاهَوَيْهِ وَغَيْرِهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ دُونَ زِيَادَةِ مُجَالِدٍ
