[Machine] Ibn Mas'ood and قالا said: "There is no guarantee for a believer, and we were told by Shurayh that there is no guarantee for anything entrusted except for the excessive (amount). And a hadith with a weak chain of narration has been narrated in that regard."

البيهقي:١٢٦٩٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْأَرْدَسْتَانِيُّ أنا أَبُو نَصْرٍ الْعِرَاقِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا

وَابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ؓ قَالَا لَيْسَ عَلَى مُؤْتَمَنٍ ضَمَانٌ وَرُوِّينَا عَنْ شُرَيْحٍ لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُسْتَوْدَعِ غَيْرِ الْمُغِلِّ ضَمَانٌ وَرُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ حَدِيثٌ مُسْنَدٌ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ
