[Machine] To fast for a month and then she died, so her brother came to the Prophet ﷺ and he said, "Fast for her."

البيهقي:١٢٦٤٥ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ إِمْلَاءً أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَاكِهِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثنا بَدَلُ بْنُ الْمُحَبَّرِ قَالَ ثنا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُسْلِمًا الْبَطِينَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً نَذَرَتْ

أَنْ تَصُومَ شَهْرًا فَمَاتَتْ فَأَتَى أَخُوهَا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ صُمْ عَنْهَا
