[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Debt must be settled before making a will, and the heir has no right to make a will." This narration was reported by Yahya ibn Abi Unaysah from Abu Ishaq from Asim, and Yahya is considered weak in reliability.

البيهقي:١٢٥٦٣ – وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَكَمِ أنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي شَبِيبُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ يَحْيَى بْنَ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ الْجَزَرِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الدَّيْنُ قَبْلَ الْوَصِيَّةِ وَلَيْسَ لِوَارِثٍ وَصِيَّةٌ كَذَا أَتَى بِهِ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي أُنَيْسَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ وَيَحْيَى ضَعِيفٌ
