[Machine] Al-Shafi'i said, and it has been narrated in regards to the settlement of debts before the will, a hadith from the Prophet ﷺ that the people of hadith do not establish anything like it. Al-Shafi'i said, Sufyan narrated from Abu Ishaq from Harith from Ali from the Prophet ﷺ that he ruled in favor of the debt before the will. The scholar said, the rejection of the people of hadith to establish this is because Harith al-Awar is unique in narrating this from Ali, and Harith's report cannot be relied upon due to criticism by the preservers.
