[Machine] "That you should eat it, even if you wish, you would not take it." Abu Sa'eed added in his narration, "Al-Shafi'i Ibn Umar said, 'Perhaps he did not hear the Hadith from the Prophet ﷺ regarding the piece, and if we did not hear it, it is appropriate to say that he should not eat it, as Ibn Umar said.'"  

البيهقي:١٢٠٦٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ أَنَّ رَجُلًا وَجَدَ لُقَطَةً فَجَاءَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ لُقَطَةً فَمَاذَا تَرَى؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ عَرِّفْهَا قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ قَالَ زِدْ قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ قَالَ لَا آمُرُكَ

أَنْ تَأَكُلَهَا وَلَوْ شِئْتَ لَمْ تَأْخُذْهَا زَادَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَعَلَّهُ أَنْ لَا يَكُونَ سَمِعَ الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي اللُّقَطَةِ وَلَوْ لَمْ نَسْمَعْهُ انْبَغَى أَنْ نَقُولَ لَا يَأْكُلُهَا كَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ
