That a bedouin told him that he brought a milch she-camel in the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He alighted with Talhah ibn Ubaydullah (and wanted to sell his milch animal to him). He said: The Prophet ﷺ forbade a townsman to sell for a man from the desert. But go to the market and see who buys from you. consult me thereafter, and then I shall ask you (to sell) or forbid you. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3441)   

البيهقي:١٠٩١١أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ أنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ الْمَكِّيِّ أَنَّ أَعْرَابِيًّا حَدَّثَهُ

قَالَ قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ بِحَلُوبَةٍ لِي عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَنَزَلْتُ عَلَى طَلْحَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي لَا عِلْمَ لِي بِأَهْلِ هَذِهِ السُّوقِ فَلَوْ بِعْتَ لِي فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ حَاضِرٌ لِبَادٍ وَلَكِنِ اذْهَبْ إِلَى السُّوقِ فَإِنْ جَاءَكَ مَنْ يُبَايِعُكَ فَشَاوِرْنِي حَتَّى آمُرَكَ أَوْ أَنْهَاكَ
