[Machine] Regarding scratches that a person may have, if it increases the requirement for ablution or full bathing due to major impurity, and there is a bandage on the affected area, then it is said: If one fears that the water might harm the wound, they should wipe over the bandage. But if they do not fear any harm, then they should wash it.  

البيهقي:١٠٨٤وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ بِشْرَانَ الْعَدْلُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ثنا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ هَارُونَ أنا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ طَاوُسًا

عَنِ الْخَدْشِ يَكُونُ بِالرَّجُلِ فَيَزِيدُ الْوُضُوءَ أَوْ الِاغْتِسَالَ مَنَ الْجَنَابَةِ وَقَدْ عَصَبَ عَلَيْهِ خِرْقَةً فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ يَخَافُ فَلْيَمْسَحْ عَلَى الْخِرْقَةِ وَإِنْ كَانَ لَا يَخَافُ فَلْيَغْسِلْهَا
