[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade selling grain until it is threshed, selling palm trees until they bear fruit, and selling fruit until it ripens and becomes edible. It was narrated from Abu Shaybah, from Abu Anas ibn Malik, that he said: "I don't know anything about this." And it was narrated from Jabir al-Ju'fi, from Umm Thawr, that her husband Basrah asked Ibn Abbas when is the best time to buy palm trees. He said: "Until they bear fruit." He also asked him about purchasing crops, which are the grains. He said: "Until they turn yellow." This chain of narration is weak, and the authentic narration in this subject is from Ayyub al-Sakhtiyani, then the narration of Hammad ibn Salama, as we mentioned in their wording. And Allah knows best.
