[Machine] A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ with a complaint of intense headache. She said, "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to cure me." The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you wish, I shall pray to Allah to cure you, and if you wish, you may observe patience and there will be reward for you in that." The woman said, "I shall observe patience."  

أحمد:٩٦٨٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَتْ امْرَأَةٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِهَا لَمَمٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَشْفِيَنِي قَالَ إِنْ شِئْتِ دَعَوْتُ اللهَ أَنْ يَشْفِيَكِ وَإِنْ شِئْتِ فَاصْبِرِي وَلَا حِسَابَ عَلَيْكِ قَالَتْ بَلْ أَصْبِرُ وَلَا حِسَابَ عَلَيَّ

He said, "If you wish, I will pray for your recovery, and if you wish, you can be patient, and there will be no blame on you." She said, "No, I will be patient, and there will be no blame on me."
