[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I do not like that one of you spends all of his gold every day, and he comes to me with nothing but a small amount, which he intends to pay off a debt."

أحمد:٨٥٩٥ – حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ أُحُدَكُمْ هَذَا ذَهَبًا أُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ فَيَمُرُّ بِي ثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا شَيْئًا أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ

“I would not like to have (the equivalent of) Uhud in gold, then a third night comes to me and I have anything of it left, except something that I set aside to pay off a debt.”
