ahmad:8498ʿAffān > Wuhayb > Suhayl from his father > Abū Hurayrah

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet (PBUH), a man passed by a thorn on the road. He said, "I will remove this thorn from the road so that it does not harm a Muslim." It was then said that he was forgiven.  

أحمد:٨٤٩٨حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَرَّ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ بِجِذْلِ شَوْكٍ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَقَالَ لَأُمِيطَنَّ هَذَا الشَّوْكَ عَنِ الطَّرِيقِ أَنْ لَا يَعْقِرَ رَجُلًا مُسْلِمًا قَالَ فَغُفِرَ لَهُ
