[Machine] Sufyan and his companions, who were followers of Ahmas, met Qalqays. They greeted him and Sufyan said to him, "Once the Prophet came to him and my father said, 'O Abu Huraira, these are your relatives who have come to greet you and they want you to tell them about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' He said, 'Welcome to them and greetings. I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for three years and never was I more eager to convey a Hadith from him than I am to narrate from me.' Until I heard him say, 'By Allah, it is better for one of you to take a rope, gather firewood on his back, eat from it, and give charity from it, than to go to a man whom Allah has blessed with His bounty and ask him for something, whether he gives it to him or refuses it.'"
