[Machine] We were with the Prophet ﷺ when a young man suddenly came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, can I kiss while I am fasting?" He replied, "No." Then an old man came and asked, "O Messenger of Allah, can I kiss while I am fasting?" He answered, "Yes." At this, some of us looked at each other, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I knew that some of you were looking at each other. Surely, the elderly man has control over himself."  

كُنَّا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺفَجَاءَ شَابٌّ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُقَبِّلُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ؟ فَقَالَ لَا فَجَاءَ شَيْخٌ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أُقَبِّلُ وَأَنَا صَائِمٌ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ فَنَظَرَ بَعْضُنَا إِلَى بَعْضٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَدْ عَلِمْتُ نَظَرَ بَعْضِكُمْ إِلَى بَعْضٍ إِنَّ الشَّيْخَ يَمْلِكُ نَفْسَهُ
