[Machine] I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "It is permitted, and a man from Quraysh will permit it. If his sins were to be weighed against the sins of the two heavyweights, they would outweigh them. So be careful that it is not you, O Ibn ‘Amr, for you have read the books and accompanied the Messenger ﷺ." He said, "Indeed, I bear witness that this is my face that will be turned towards Sham (Syria), fighting in the cause of Allah."  

أَشْهَدُلَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ يُحِلُّهَا وَيَحُلُّ بِهِ رَجُلٌ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ لَوْ وُزِنَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ بِذُنُوبِ الثَّقَلَيْنِ لَوَزَنَتْهَا قَالَ فَانْظُرْ أَنْ لَا تَكُونَ هُوَ يَا ابْنَ عَمْرٍو فَإِنَّكَ قَدْ قَرَأْتَ الْكُتُبَ وَصَحِبْتَ الرَّسُولَ ﷺ قَالَ فَإِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ أَنَّ هَذَا وَجْهِي إِلَى الشَّأْمِ مُجَاهِدًا
