[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever wears gold from my nation and dies while wearing it, he will not wear gold from Paradise. And he said, 'This is the prohibition by which Allah has forbidden gold from Paradise.' And whoever wears silk from my nation and dies while wearing it, Allah has prohibited him from wearing silk from Paradise." Abdullah bin Ahmed reported that my father narrated this hadith to me, and I thought that he mentioned it because it was a mistake. However, it turned out that it was Maymun bin As'tad who narrated it from Abdullah bin Amr. There is no narration from As-Saddifi regarding this. It is said that this Maymun is As-Saddifi because Yazeed bin Harun did not hear from Al-Jurairi except in the last years of his life. And Allah knows best.  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ لَبِسَ الذَّهَبَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ يَلْبَسُهُ لَمْ يَلْبَسْ مِنْ ذَهَبِ الْجَنَّةِ وَقَالَ هَوْذَةُ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ ذَهَبَ الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ يَلْبَسُهُ حَرَّمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ حَرِيرَ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ [بْنُ أَحْمَدَ] ضَرَبَ أَبِي عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ ضَرَبَ عَلَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُ خَطَأٌ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ مَيْمُونُ بْنُ أَسْتَاذَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَلَيْسَ فِيهِ عَنِ الصَّدَفِيِّ وَيُقَالُ إِنَّ مَيْمُونَ هَذَا هُوَ الصَّدَفِيُّ لِأَنَّ سَمَاعَ يَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ مِنَ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ آخِرَ عُمُرِهِ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ
