[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ encountered two men who were walking together towards the house. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What is the matter with you two?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah, we have made a vow to walk together towards the house." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "This is not a vow." He then severed their bond. Suraqah mentioned in his narration, "Verily, a vow is only intended for seeking the face of Allah, the Exalted and Majestic."
