[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended upon the people during the year of Tabuk. He descended upon them near the homes of Thamud and they drank from the wells that Thamud used to drink from. They kneaded dough and placed the pots on the fire to cook meat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded them to pour out the pots and feed the camel with the dough. Then he traveled with them until they reached the well from which the camel used to drink. He prohibited them from entering the people who were punished, saying, "I fear that something similar will happen to you, so do not enter upon them."  

نَزَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالنَّاسِ عَامَ تَبُوكَ نَزَلَ بِهِمُ الْحِجْرَ عِنْدَ بُيُوتِ ثَمُودَ فَاسْتَسْقَى النَّاسُ مِنَ الْآبَارِ الَّتِي كَانَ يَشْرَبُ مِنْهَا ثَمُودُ فَعَجَنُوا مِنْهَا وَنَصَبُوا الْقُدُورَ بِاللَّحْمِ فَأَمَرَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَهَرَاقُوا الْقُدُورَ وَعَلَفُوا الْعَجِينَ الْإِبِلَ ثُمَّ ارْتَحَلَ بِهِمْ حَتَّى نَزَلَ بِهِمْ عَلَى الْبِئْرِ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تَشْرَبُ مِنْهَاالنَّاقَةُ وَنَهَاهُمْ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الَّذِينَ عُذِّبُوا قَالَ إِنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ يُصِيبَكُمْ مِثْلُ مَا أَصَابَهُمْ فَلَا تَدْخُلُوا عَلَيْهِمْ
