[Machine] "Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ used to do that," Abdullah said. They mentioned to Nafi' that he used to walk between the two corners. He said, "He would only walk when he wanted to perform tawaf al-Ifadah."  

أحمد:٥٧٦٠حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمُ بْنُ أَخْضَرَ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَرْمُلُ مِنَ الْحَجَرِ إِلَى الْحَجَرِ وَيُخْبِرُنَا

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللهِ فَذَكَرُوا لِنَافِعٍ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ مَا كَانَ يَمْشِي إِلَّا حِينَ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَسْتَلِمَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ أَكَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ؟ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَمْشِي؛ لِأَنَّهُ أَيْسَرُ لِاسْتِلَامِهِ
