[Machine] A woman belonging to Ka'b ibn Malik used to take care of sheep for him in a pasture of his. She presented a sheep to him but it got scared and she took a pebble out of fear and slaughtered it with it. They asked the Prophet ﷺ about it, so he commanded them to eat it.  

أحمد:٥٤٦٤حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مِنْ بَنِي سَلِمَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ

أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهُ بِسَلْعٍ فَعَرَضَ لِشَاةٍ مِنْهَا فَخَافَتْ عَلَيْهَا فَأَخَذَتْ لِخَافَةً مِنْ حَجَرٍ فَذَبَحَتْهَا بِهَا فَسَأَلُوا النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَأَمَرَهُمْ بِأَكْلِهَا

A slave girl belonging to Kaʿb used to graze some sheep at Sl'a (mountain). Once one of her sheep was dying. She reached it (before it died) and slaughtered it with a stone. The Prophet ﷺ was asked, and he said, "Eat it."

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from a man of the Ansar from Muadh ibn Sad or Sad ibn Muadh that a slave-girl of Kab ibn Malik was herding some sheep at Sal (a mountain near Madina). One of the sheep was about to die, so she went over to it and slaughtered it with a stone. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about that, and he said, "There is no harm in it, so eat it."  

مالك:٢٤-٤وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَوْ سَعْدِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ

أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهَا بِسَلْعٍ فَأُصِيبَتْ شَاةٌ مِنْهَا فَأَدْرَكَتْهَا فَذَكَّتْهَا بِحَجَرٍ فَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لاَ بَأْسَ بِهَا فَكُلُوهَا

[Machine] A girl was tending to sheep for Ka'b with goods. The wolf attacked one of the sheep from its herd and the shepherd girl caught it and rescued it with a branch. Ka'b bin Malik asked the Prophet ﷺ about it and he ordered him to eat it.  

أحمد:١٥٧٦٥حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنِ ابْنٍ لِكَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ

أَنَّ جَارِيَةً لِكَعْبٍ كَانَتْ تَرْعَى غَنَمًا لَهُ بِسَلْعٍ فَعَدَا الذِّئْبُ عَلَى شَاةٍ مِنْ شَائِهَا فَأَدْرَكَتْهَا الرَّاعِيَةُ فَذَكَّتْهَا بِمَرْوَةٍ فَسَأَلَ كَعْبُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِهَا

[Machine] That a woman used to graze sheep for the family of Ka'b ibn Malik with goods. She became fearful for one of the sheep's life, so she slaughtered it with a stone. This incident was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he ordered them to eat it.

[Machine] "A maid of Ka'ab bin Malik used to tend to his sheep for him in Sal'al. One of them, a sheep, reached the point of death, so she took a piece of it and seasoned it with it. He then ordered him to eat it."
