ahmad:487Ibn al-Ashjaʿī from my father > Sufyān > Sālim Abū al-Naḍr > Busr b. Saʿīd Qālaʾatá ʿUthmān al-Maqāʿid Fadaʿā Biwaḍūʾ Fatamaḍmaḍ Wāstanshaq Thum Ghasal And Jhah Thalāth Wayadayh Thalāth Thalāth Thum Masaḥ Biraʾsih Warijlayh Thalāth Thalāth Thum

ʿUthman ؓ came to al-Maqaʿid and called for water for wudooʿ. He rinsed his mouth and nose, then he washed his face three times, then he washed his hands three times each, then he wiped his head and (washed) his feet three times each. Then he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing wudooʿ like this, O people, isnʿt that true? They said: Yes - i.e., a group of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who were with him.  

أحمد:٤٨٧حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ قَالَأَتَى عُثْمَانُ الْمَقَاعِدَ فَدَعَا بِوَضُوءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ وَاسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ وَرِجْلَيْهِ ثَلاثًا ثَلاثًا ثُمَّ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ هَكَذَا يَتَوَضَّأُ يَا هَؤُلاءِ أَكَذَاكَ؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ لِنَفَرٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عِنْدَهُ
