[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the killing of mice, crows, and wolves. It was said to Ibn Umar: "What about snakes and scorpions?" He replied: "It was said that these were included."  

أحمد:٤٧٣٧حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِقَتْلِ الْفَأْرَةِ وَالْغُرَابِ وَالذِّئْبِ قَالَ قِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ الْحَيَّةُ وَالْعَقْرَبُ ؟ قَالَ قَدْ كَانَ يُقَالُ ذَلِكَ

[Machine] I heard Ibn Umar saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded the killing of the wolf as a Haram (prohibited) animal, meaning the mouse, the crow, and the jerboa (a small desert rodent). It was then asked, "What about the snake and the scorpion?" He replied, "It was said that they are included."
