[Machine] He used to perform three rituals of stoning and walk four rounds, claiming that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to do so. He used to walk between the two corners, saying that he only did so to facilitate his acceptance.  

أحمد:٤٦١٨حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَرْمُلُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَمْشِي أَرْبَعًا وَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَفْعَلُهُ وَكَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَمْشِي مَا بَيْنَهُمَا لِيَكُونَ أَيْسَرَ لِاسْتِلَامِهِ
