ahmad:434 – ʿAbd al-Kabīr b. ʿAbd al-Majīd Abū Bakr al-Ḥanafī > ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd / Ibn Jaʿfar from his father > Maḥmūd b. Labīdٍʿan ʿUthmān b. ʿAffān

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ʿWhoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, may He be glorified and exalted. Allah will build something like it for him in Paradise.”  

أحمد:٤٣٤ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَفَّانَ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ بَنَى مَسْجِدًا لِلَّهِ ﷻ بَنَى اللهُ لَهُ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ
