ahmad:388 – Wakīʿ > Isrāʾīl > Abū Isḥāq > ʿAmr b. Maymūn > ʿUmar

And diseases of the heart means dying. Wakee said: And turmoil (fitnah) from which he has not repented.

أحمد:٣٨٨ – حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍعَنْ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ قَالَ وَكِيعٌ فِتْنَةُ الصَّدْرِ أَنْ يَمُوتَ الرَّجُلُ وَذَكَرَ وَكِيعٌ الْفِتْنَةَ لَمْ يَتُبْ مِنْهَا

Prophet saas used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave and the tribulation of the heart. (Da'if)(One of the narrators) Waki' said: "Meaning when a man dies in a state of tribulation (Fitnah) and does not ask Allah to forgive him."
