The killer has no share of the blood money

[AI] And he said: Umar took from the camels thirty hiqqahs, thirty jadhaahs, and forty thaniyyahs up to those in their bazil year, all of them pregnant. He said: Then he called the brother of the slain and gave them to him instead of his father, and said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The killer has no share."

أحمد:٣٤٨ – حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ كِلاهُمَا عَنْ مُجَاهِدِ بْنِ جَبْرٍ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ

وَقَالَ: أَخَذَ عُمَرُ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ ثَلاثِينَ حِقَّةً، وَثَلاثِينَ جَذَعَةً، وَأَرْبَعِينَ ثَنِيَّةً إِلَى بَازِلِ عَامِهَا، كُلُّهَا خَلِفَةٌ. قَالَ: ثُمَّ دَعَا أَخَا الْمَقْتُولِ فَأَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ دُونَ أَبِيهِ، وَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «لَيْسَ لِقَاتِلٍ شَيْءٌ»

ahmad:347 – Hushaym And Yazīd > Yaḥyá b. Saʿīd > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb Qālaqāl ʿUmar Lawlā Annī

ʿUmar ؓ said. Were it not that I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “The killer gets nothing (from the estate of the one he murdered),ʿ I would have included you among the heirs. And he called the maternal uncle of the one who had been killed and gave the camels to him. It was narrated from Mujahid bin Jabr... and he mentioned the same Hadeeth. He said: ʿUmar (4) took thirty three year-old she-camels, thirty four year-old she-camels and forty she camels between the ages of five and eight years, all of which were pregnant, then he called the brother of the one who had been killed and gave them to him, not to his father. And he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “The killer gets nothing.ʿ
