[Machine] Which of the two recitations was the last, Abdullah's recitation or Zaid's recitation? He said, we said, Zaid's recitation. He said, no, indeed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite the Qur'an to Gabriel once every year. But in the year he passed away, he recited it to him twice. And Abdullah's recitation was the last recitation.

أَيُّ الْقِرَاءَتَيْنِ كَانَتْ أَخِيرًا قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِاللهِ أَوْ قِرَاءَةُ زَيْدٍ؟ قَالَ قُلْنَا قِرَاءَةُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ لَا إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ الْقُرْآنَ عَلَى جَبْرَيلَ كُلَّ عَامٍ مَرَّةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الْعَامِ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ عَرَضَهُ عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ وَكَانَتْ آخِرَ الْقِرَاءَةِ قِرَاءَةُ عَبْدِ اللهِ

[Machine] The Quran was presented to the Prophet ﷺ once every year. However, in the year before he passed away, it was presented to him twice.

كَانَ يُعْرَضُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ الْقُرْآنَ فِي كُلِّ سَنَةٍ مَرَّةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ الْعَامُ الَّذِي قُبِضَ فِيهِ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ مَرَّتَيْنِ

[Machine] Which of the two readings do you see as the last? They said, the reading of Zaid. He said, no. "Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to present the Quran to Gabriel every year, and when it was the year in which he passed away, he presented it to him twice. So, the last one was the reading of Ibn Mas'ud."

أَيُّ الْقِرَاءَتَيْنِ تَرَوْنَ كَانَ آخِرَ الْقِرَاءَةِ؟ قَالُوا قِرَاءَةُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ لَا «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَعْرِضُ الْقُرْآنَ كُلَّ سَنَةٍ عَلَى جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ السَّنَةُ الَّتِي قُبِضَ فِيهَا عَرَضَهُ عَلَيْهِ عَرْضَتَيْنِ فَكَانَتْ قِرَاءَةُ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ آخِرَهُنَّ»
