[Machine] Her husband divorced her three times, so she came to the Prophet ﷺ to complain to him. He did not give her a place to live nor financial support. Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "We do not abandon the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ for the words of a woman, perhaps she misunderstood." 'Amir narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded her to live in the house of Ibn Umm Maktum.  

أحمد:٢٧٣٣٨حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ

أَنَّ زَوْجَهَا طَلَّقَهَا ثَلَاثًا فَأَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَشْكُو إِلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ لَهَا سُكْنَى وَلَا نَفَقَةً قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ لَا نَدَعُ كِتَابَ اللهِ ﷻ وَسُنَّةَ نَبِيِّهِ ﷺ لِقَوْلِ امْرَأَةٍ لَعَلَّهَا نَسِيَتْقَالَ قَالَ عَامِرٌ وَحَدَّثَتْنِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَعْتَدَّ فِي بَيْتِ ابْنِ أُمِّ مَكْتُومٍ
