[Machine] No, but shave his head and then give in charity an amount of silver equal to the weight of his hair to the poor or the needy. The needy were some people among the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who were in need in the mosque or in As-Suffah. Abu An-Nadr said, "From the papers on the bundles of safflower was left on As-Suffah." I did that, and when I gave birth to Husain, I did the same.

He replied, "No, but rather shave his hair and give in charity an amount equivalent to its weight in gold to the needy or the poor." Ali said, "Shariq means the people of Sufah." So she did that. When she gave birth to Husayn, she did the same."
