ahmad:26828 – And Hb b. Jarīr from my father > Abū Fazārah > Yazīd b. al-Aṣam

[Machine] It has been narrated by Maimuna, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ married her lawfully and built a house for her lawfully. However, she died unexpectedly and he buried her in the structure he had built for her. The Prophet ﷺ and Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) then entered her grave.

أحمد:٢٦٨٢٨ – حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا فَزَارَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْأَصَمِّ

عَنْ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ تَزَوَّجَهَا حَلَالًا وَبَنَى بِهَا حَلَالًا وَمَاتَتْ بِسَرِفَ فَدَفَنَهَا فِي الظُّلَّةِ الَّتِي بَنَى بِهَا فِيهَا فَنَزَلْنَا فِي قَبْرِهَا أَنَا وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ

"The Messenger of Allah married he while he was Halal and he stayed with her while he was Halal. She died in Sarif, and we buried her at the (site of the) tent where he had stayed wit her."
