That there was a dispute between him and some people (about a piece of land). When he told ʿAisha about it, she said, "O Abu Salama! Avoid taking the land unjustly, for the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever usurps even one span of the land of somebody, his neck will be encircled with it down the seven earths."  

أَنَّهُ كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ أُنَاسٍ خُصُومَةٌ فَذَكَرَ لِعَائِشَةَ ؓ فَقَالَتْ يَا أَبَا سَلَمَةَ اجْتَنِبِ الأَرْضَ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ ظَلَمَ قِيدَ شِبْرٍ مِنَ الأَرْضِ طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ  

from Abu Salama bin ʿAbdur-Rahman who had a dispute with some people on a piece of land, and so he went to ʿAisha and told her about it. She said, "O Abu Salama, avoid the land, for Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Any person who takes even a span of land unjustly, his neck shall be encircled with it down seven earths.' "  

يَا أَبَا سَلَمَةَ اجْتَنِبِ الأَرْضَ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ ظَلَمَ قِيدَ شِبْرٍ طُوِّقَهُ مِنْ سَبْعِ أَرَضِينَ  

Abu Salama, abstain from getting this land, for Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: He who usurps even a span of land would be made to wear around his neck seven earths.

[Machine] "He entered upon Aisha while he was arguing in a land, so Aisha said: O Abu Salamah, stay away from the land, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever wrongfully confines even a handsbreadth of the land, a collar of it will be put around his neck on the Day of Resurrection from seven earths."
