[Machine] About the virtue of fasting, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Do you engage in it as he did? Indeed, whatever sins he committed in the past and in the future have been forgiven for him, and his actions were voluntary for him."  

أحمد:٢٦١٢٥حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ يَعْنِي الرِّشْكَ عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ قَالَتْ سَأَلَتْ امْرَأَةٌ عَائِشَةَ وَأَنَا شَاهِدَةٌ

عَنْ وَصْلِ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ لَهَا أَتَعْمَلِينَ كَعَمَلِهِ فَإِنَّهُ قَدْ كَانَ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ وَكَانَ عَمَلُهُ نَافِلَةً لَهُ
