ahmad:26008Yazīd > Sufyān > al-Zuhrī > ʿUrwah > ʿĀʾishah > Saʾalathā Āmraʾah Yahūdiyyah Faʾaʿṭathā

[Machine] May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave. Aisha rejected that statement, so when she saw the Prophet ﷺ , she said to him, and he said, "No." Aisha then said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told us after that, 'It was revealed to me that you will be tested in your graves.'"  

أحمد:٢٦٠٠٨حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَ سَأَلَتْهَا امْرَأَةٌ يَهُودِيَّةٌ فَأَعْطَتْهَا فَقَالَتْ

لَهَا أَعَاذَكِ اللهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ فَأَنْكَرَتْ عَائِشَةُ ذَلِكَ فَلَمَّا رَأَتِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَتْ لَهُ فَقَالَ لَا قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِنَّهُ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ أَنَّكُمْ تُفْتَنُونَ فِي قُبُورِكُمْ
