[Machine] I asked Aisha, the mother of the believers, "At what time do you pray the Witr (an optional prayer performed in the night)?" She said, "I do not perform Witr until the call to prayer is made, and they do not make the call to prayer until dawn breaks." She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had two mu'adhdhins (people who make the call to prayer): Bilal and Amr ibn Umm Maktum." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Amr makes the call to prayer, eat and drink, for he is a blind man and cannot see the break of dawn. And when Bilal makes the call to prayer, raise your hands, for Bilal does not make the call to prayer like this, as he said, until it becomes morning."
