Whenever Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the Muslims to do something, he used to order them deeds which were easy for them to do, (according to their strength and endurance). They said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! We are not like you. Allah has forgiven your past and future sins." So Allah's Apostle became angry and it was apparent on his face. He said, "I am the most Allah fearing, and know Allah better than all of you do."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command them (his companions) with what they could bear, and they would say, "We are not like you in strength. Allah has forgiven you what preceded of your sin and what will follow. So, he would become angry until it could be seen in his face." He (the narrator) said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would say, 'By Allah, I know Allah better than you and I fear Him more than you do with my heart.'"
