[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "The month consists of twenty-nine days." So, they informed Aisha, and she said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman, but the month should only be twenty-nine days."  

أحمد:٢٤٢٤٧حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الشَّهْرُ تِسْعٌ وَعِشْرُونَ فَذَكَرُوا ذَلِكَ لِعَائِشَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَرْحَمُ اللهُ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِنَّمَا قَالَ الشَّهْرُ يَكُونُ تِسْعًا وَعِشْرِينَ

[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ who said: "The month is twenty-nine days, so inform Aisha of that." Aisha replied, "May Allah have mercy on Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ever leave his wives for a month?" Then it was confirmed to him and he said: "Indeed, the month may be twenty-nine days."
