The Messenger of Allah ﷺ granted a concession allowing silk the width of two fingers.  

أحمد:٢٤٢ – حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَعَنْ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَخَّصَ فِي الْحَرِيرِ فِي إِصْبَعَيْنِ
