[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Yazeed is mentioned to me." They said: "It is Ja'far ibn Maymun." Abdullah said: "My father meant Ja'far, the companion of Al-Anmaat."

أحمد:٢٣٧١٥ – حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ فِي مَجْلِسِ عَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عُثْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِمِثْلِهِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ سَمُّوهُ لِي قَالُوا هُوَ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَبِي يَعْنِي جَعْفَرَ صَاحِبَ الْأَنْمَاطِ
