[Machine] He said, "We do not know how to make use of the bathrooms of Egypt, although the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from facing both qiblas (directions of prayer) and turning our backs towards them." Hammam (one of the narrators) said, "He means defecation and urination."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَا نَدْرِي كَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ بِكَرَايِيسِ مِصْرَ وَقَدْ نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ وَنَسْتَدْبِرَهُمَا وقَالَ هَمَّامٌ يَعْنِي الْغَائِطَ وَالْبَوْلَ
