[AI] Buraida went out at dinner time, and he encountered the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ took him by the hand and brought him into the mosque. Then they heard a man reciting, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you see him reciting?" Buraida remained silent. Then they heard a man making supplication, so he said, "O Allah, I ask You by the fact that I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none like unto Him." The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, or by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, he has invoked Allah by His Greatest Name, and whenever He is asked by it, He gives and whenever He is called by it, He answers." Then, when it was close to giving birth, Buraida went out at dinner time, and he encountered the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ took him by the hand and brought him into the mosque. Then they heard the voice of a man reciting, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "Do you say it out of desire?" Buraida said, "Do you say it out of desire, O Messenger of Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "No, rather, he is a believing repentant, rather, he is a believing repentant." Then Ash'ari was reciting in a corner of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, Ash'ari, or indeed, Abdullah bin Qais, has been given a flute from the flutes of Dawud." So I said, "Should I inform him, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes, inform him." So I informed him, and he said, "You are my truthful friend. You have informed me about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a narration."

“The Prophet ﷺ heard a man supplicating, and he was saying: ‘O Allah, indeed, I ask you by my testifying that You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship except You, the One, As-Samad, the one who does not beget, nor was begotten, and there is none who is like Him (Allāhumma innī as’aluka bi annī ashhadu annaka antallāh, lā ilāha illā ant, al-aḥaduṣ-ṣamad, alladhī lam yalid wa lam yūlad, wa lam yakun lahu kufuwan aḥad).” He said: “So he said: ‘By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, he has asked Allah by His Greatest Name, the one which if He is called upon by it, He responds, and when He is asked by it, He gives.’”(One of the narrators) Zaid said: “So I mentioned it to Zuhair bin Muʿawiyah years after that, and he said: Abu Ishaq reported to me from Malik bin Mighwal.’” Zaid said: “Then I mentioned it to Sufyan, so he reported it to me from Malik.”

[AI] He entered the mosque with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and there was a man praying, supplicating and saying, "O Allah, I ask You by virtue of the fact that I bear witness that there is no god but You, the One, the Eternal, who begets not nor was He begotten, and there is none comparable unto Him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, he has asked Allah by His greatest name, which if He is called upon using it, He answers, and if He is asked by it, He gives." And when a man was reciting in a corner of the mosque, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He has been given a melodious voice from among the melodious voices of the family of Dawood (David)." The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I inform him?" He said, "Yes, inform him." So I informed Abu Musa, and he said, "He will always be my friend."
