[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a person from selling food until he receives it in full. So I said to him, 'How is that?' He said, 'That is by exchanging currency for currency, and the food is delayed.'"  

أحمد:٢٢٧٥حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى أَنْ يَبِيعَ الرَّجُلُ طَعَامًا حَتَّى يَسْتَوْفِيَهُ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ كَيْفَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ ذَلِكَ دَرَاهِمُ بِدَرَاهِمَ وَالطَّعَامُ مُرْجَأٌ

Ibn ʿAbbas said, "Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the selling of foodstuff before its measuring and transferring into one's possession." I asked Ibn ʿAbbas, "How is that?" Ibn ʿAbbas replied, "It will be just like selling money for money, as the foodstuff has not been handed over to the first purchaser who is the present seller."  

البخاري:٢١٣٢حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a man from selling food unless he has fully received it. Tawus said, "I said to Ibn Abbas, 'How is that?' He replied, 'That means exchanging dirhams for dirhams, and the food is deferred.'"
