[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The angels sit on the doors of the mosque on Friday, holding scrolls in which they record the people. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are folded. I said: O Abu Umamah, is there no Friday for those who come after the Imam? He said: Indeed there is, but their names are not recorded in the scrolls.  

أحمد:٢٢٢٦٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا مُبَارَكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ فَضَالَةَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَقْعُدُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَهُمُ الصُّحُفُ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ قُلْتُ يَا أَبَا أُمَامَةَ لَيْسَ لِمَنْ جَاءَ بَعْدَ خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ جُمُعَةٌ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَلَكِنْ لَيْسَ مِمَّنْ يُكْتَبُ فِي الصُّحُفِ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, the angels stand at the doors of the mosque on the day of Friday. They have with them scrolls in which they write the names of the people. When the Imam comes out, the scrolls are rolled up." So, I asked, "Is there no reward for those who come after the Imam on Friday?" He replied, "Yes, but it is not the same as those written in the scrolls."  

الطبراني:٨٠٨٥ – حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ كَاسِبٍ ثنا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ عَنْ مُبَارَكِ بْنِ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ أَبِي غَالِبٍ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَيَقُومُونَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ مَعَهُمِ الصُّحُفُ يَكْتُبُونَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى إِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ طُوِيَتِ الصُّحُفُ» فَقُلْتُ لَيْسَ لِمَنْ خَرَجَ بَعْدَ الْإِمَامِ جُمُعَةٌ؟ فَقَالَ «بَلَى وَلَكِنَّهُ لَيْسَ فِيمَا فِي الصُّحُفِ»
