[Machine] Indeed, there was a man who was impoverished and he vowed that if he was able to cut off his hand, then Al-Hasan said: Samurah narrated to us, he said: The Prophet ﷺ rarely delivered a sermon except that he commanded charity in it and forbade similarity.  

أحمد:٢٠١٣٦حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ

إِنَّ عَبْدًا لَهُ أَبَقَ وَإِنَّهُ نَذَرَ إِنْ قَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَقْطَعَ يَدَهُ فَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ حَدَّثَنَا سَمُرَةُ قَالَ قَلَّمَا خَطَبَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ خُطْبَةً إِلَّا أَمَرَ فِيهَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ وَنَهَى فِيهَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ
