[Machine] A man came to the Prophet ﷺ , an elderly man leaning on a staff. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have committed betrayals and transgressions. Will they be forgiven for me?" The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you testify that there is no deity but Allah?" The man replied, "Yes, and I testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Your betrayals and transgressions have been forgiven."  

أحمد:١٩٤٣٢حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ جَابِرٍ الْحُدَّانِيِّ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ قَالَ

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ يَدَّعِمُ عَلَى عَصًا لَهُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّ لِي غَدَرَاتٍ وَفَجَرَاتٍ فَهَلْ يُغْفَرُ لِي؟ قَالَ أَلَسْتَ تَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ؟ قَالَ بَلَى وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ قَالَ قَدْ غُفِرَ لَكَ غَدَرَاتُكَ وَفَجَرَاتُكَ
